Many of us are still quietly devastated at the loss of Prince from the planet almost two weeks ago.

Well, there’s a lovely tribute happening tonight that might just make some of you feel better.

At 10.07pm GMT, radio stations are going to play the Prince-penned classic Nothing Compares 2 U simultaneously around the world.

“It’s been seven hours and thirteen days.”

It will mark seven hours and thirteen days since Prince’s death, and fans around the world will join together in memory of a lost icon.

KPMC in Minneapolis, Prince’s home city, came up with the fitting tribute to the singer.

Host Jim McGuinn told BBC “We thought marking this moment…with one of Prince’s most ubiquitous songs would be a wonderful way to honour his legacy,”

“We hope that wherever Prince fans are, and whatever radio station they are listening to, they will take a minute to listen and remember his musical genius and artistry.”
