There’s only a couple of days left until the much-talked about referendum on marriage equality takes place this Friday, May 22nd.
In preparation for the vote, there was a debate on tonight’s episode of Primetime with both the Yes and No votes represented.
Alex White, Colm O’Gorman and Senator Katherine Zappone spoke on behalf of the Yes vote while the No side was represented by Ronan Mullen, Breda O’Brien and Patrick Treacy.
There was plenty of reaction to the debate online and here’s what Twitter users had to say.
Ronan Mullen seems to think debate is him shouting over the opposition. #rtept #MarRef #VoteYes #Yes

In case you want to hear more on the issue, there’s a second debate on TV3 right about now, with Micheál Martin of Fianna Fail representing the Yes side and journalist John Waters, representing the No side.
