This weekend was a bit of a wild one with Storm Desmond wreaking havoc up and down the country (and turning Teresa Mannion into a globally trending meme), but Animal Heaven animal rescue in County Kerry probably have the cutest storm story of all.
There was a little donkey trapped in a flooded field in Killorglin yesterday, and the centre put out a call to help on their Facebook page.
Code red. Todays emergency. Please help me. There is a donkey stranded in deep flooding in Kilorglin. I need a boat and men to help. I have ropes ect Please ring 087 3157085 Please get me help

Thankfully, the crew and some volunteers rescued the animal and sure didn’t he look absolutely DELIGHTED!
