Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day and studies have shown that not having a bite to eat in the morning can be bad for you.
According to expert Dr Oz, the time at which you sit down for your first meal of the day is very important.
The health professional recommends that you should always have breakfast within an hour of waking up.
Chatting to Pop Sugar, Dr Oz said that lunch should come about four and a half hours after that and then, a couple of hours later, you should be tucking into your dinner.
Sticking to this sort of routine makes you less likely to eat junk food and having your dinner at least three hours before you go to bed helps to avoid indigestion.
