Skittles – the old-school sweet that you know and love.
That said, you’re about to see a pretty big change from Skittles as you know them.
As many people know, Pride took place last weekend and people all over the world celebrated the LGBT community.

Anyway, to mark the festival, Skittles decided to do something special and so they decided to change from rainbow colours to a simple monochromatic colour scheme.
Why?
It’s for a pretty special reason actually as Skittles decided that for Pride, “one rainbow deserves to be the centre of attention”.
According to Design Taxi, the ad campaign which was put together with the help of adam&eveDBB and it’s just great.
This is what Skittles had to say about the idea:
“So this is kinda awkward, but we’re just gonna go ahead and address the rainbow-coloured elephant in the room. You have the rainbow … we have the rainbow … and usually that’s just hunky-dory. But this Pride, only one rainbow deserves to be the centre of attention – yours.
“And we’re not going to be the ones to steal your rainbow thunder, no siree. That’s why this weekend, we’re giving up our rainbow. But don’t worry, we’ll still be there to celebrate every colourful minute with you, we’ll just be completely starkers while we do it”.
