Are you excited? Because we’re really excited.
Electric Picnic is one of our favourite festivals of the year. It comes at the very end of the festival season but it is SO worth the wait.
From having the craic with mates, discovering bands you never heard before and attending some of the most well-known acts the world has to offering, it’s a great weekend from start to finish.
One thing we have also loved in recent years is the food at EP. While years ago you might not have been able to get anything more than a bag of chips, in recent times we’re seeing a rise of good quality grub being sold at Electric Picnic.
And this year promises to be better than ever – especially from the Just Eat Flavourville tent.
As Box Burger has been a staple at the tent, Roz Purcell has now teamed up with the fantastic team to offer a tasty new vegan burger which will make its debut this year.
In partnership with head chef Mitch Clarke, Roz’s limited-edition menu offering will include a delicious satay patty with sweet mango slaw served in a fluffy vegan brioche. SORRY, but how gorgeous does that sound?
Other Irish restaurant partners included in Flavourville are Box Burger, Platform Pizza, Daata and Arctic Stone. Arctic Stone, Ireland’s first and finest hand-rolledice-cream, will be serving up a host of gluten free, dairy free and vegan friendly flavours, while Platform Pizza will deliver a slice of plant-based heaven with their Vegan Pizza.
We’re literally going to be spoiled for choice.
Roz said of her new creation: “I’m so excited to be partnering with Just Eat and Box Burger for this year’s Electric Picnic festival.
“As a big lover of Box Burger’s vegan menu, a fan of Just Eat and a regular Electric Picnic festival goer it’s so exciting to be able to order something at the festival that I’ve created. The burger is delicious and whether you’re vegan or not, you’ll love it!”
See you there, yeah?
