“Just one Cornetto, give it to me”
Rejoice! Cornetto has announced the addition of their first ever dairy free ice-cream. Their ice cream will be suitable for vegans featuring soy ice-cream and a gluten-free cone.
A spokesperson for PETA told Vegan Food and Living: “Cornetto has recognised that vegan eating is on the rise in Britain – more and more people are switching to a plant-based diet every year.”
“Consumers who choose dairy-free ice cream spare cows immense suffering in the dairy industryand also help reduce the devastating environmental impact of animal agriculture.”
The ice-cream will feature the regular chocolate and nuts however, this time it can be enjoyed by a wider range of people. Hurrah!
This news has gone down a treat too with fans of the brand, tweeting their excitement, people cannot wait for this product to drop mid-March.
