From the tantrums, the tears and the rest... 26-year-old Al Ferguson decided to capture a special moment between himself and his newborn son, Ted, on camera and so called in the expertise of photographer Kirsty Grant. The Kent native wanted to remember the special moment and so held his son in his arms as he peacefully snoozed. New Mum Jen doted on both of her men from afar as the intimate snaps were being taken. However nothing prepared the new parents or photographer for what was to come... Little Ted had a surprise for his adoring father, just not the surprise any parent would wish on another... The trials and tribulations of parenthood summed up brilliantly in just one image. The photograph of little Ted projectile pooing on his Dad has since gone viral after being uploaded to Al’s blog 'The Dad Network'. "It happened within a second," Al said, "as I felt his stomach tense, in the back of your head you know he’s about to go poo, and then before you know it… he’s doing it". "The photographer did an amazing thing — she reached down for a nappy, picked it up, then went to put it over Ted’s bum to stem the flow. And she still got the shot".
