After Lauren decided not to go, the trip was offered to Whitney Port instead. And now, Whitney has revealed that she never actually went to Paris either...Speaking to Vogue, Whitney revealed that the summer internship in Paris was all fake.
Wow, we feel betrayed.
"That was so ridiculous," Whitney told Vogue.
"It wasn't an ideal situation, but I thought, okay, this is good for me because I really was pursuing a career in fashion. I thought it showed that I was down and determined to do this. It was very Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs [from the Devil Wears Prada]".
"I got dressed up in an airport look and went for it."
And then, after filming the dramatic departure scene, everyone just went home.Whitney Port will be returning to our screens this summer for the reboot of The Hills: New Beginnings.
A number of familiar faces will be making a comeback, such as Heidi Pratt, Audrina Patridge and Brody Jenner, but Lauren has decided to stay away from the cameras.
Randomly, Mischa Barton will feature in the new show.
She said to Cosmopolitan:
"It's weird because I remember going out with Nicole Richie and people at the time, and we would come by set when they were filming The Hills."
"She would drag me to the producer van to see what you guys had been up to all day. All these years later...it sounds corny, but it felt like this was supposed to happen."
