Now though, it looks like he may have landed his biggest role to date as, according to The Sun, he is set to have a speaking role on the new Bridget Jones movie.
The news comes not long after it was revealed that parts of Ed's gigs at Croke Park may be used in the movie.
According to a source, “Ed was really keen to be part of the movie after granting access to film at his gig [in Dublin]."
“He’s got experience playing himself in Home and Away and is not daunted by the prospect of starring alongside Renee.
“Bridget Jones is a huge British film so he feels nabbing a cameo is a bit of a coup,” the source added.
“He just hopes he’ll make the final cut.”Entertainment
