Dirty Dancing is making a comeback but only for TV.
The hit movie will get a new lease of life in May when it airs on ABC in the States. Taking the lead in the new movie will be Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) as Baby and she will be joined by Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) as her older sister and Colt Prattes as Johnny.
Although it’s airing in the States it’ll probably turn up somewhere for Irish people to watch it.
Abigail shared the first images from the new movie while they practiced the iconic dance routines.
She shared two photos on Instagram saying, “Casually dancing around a fireplace, as one does. AND just casually dippin’ around a fireplace. As one also does.”
