The world of VR has already proven it can be successful on the big screen with films like The Matrix and Ready Player One springing to mind.
Now, Netflix are going to try and bring VR to the small screen with their latest series, Kiss Me First.
It's based on a young adult novel by Lottie Moggach, about Leila, a teenager who quickly gets addicted to a video game called Agora. She meets Tess and the pair quickly become friends.
When Tess disappears, Leila takes on her identity in the game, and strange things begin to happen with secrets being revealed.
The series was created in conjunction with Channel 4, who previously teamed up with Netflix to create The End Of The F***ing World.
The six-part series premiered in the UK on April 2, but will be available in its entirety on Netflix at the end of June.
