Better mark the calendars, the release date for the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire drama Quiz has been confirmed.
ITV has previously confirmed that the drama would be on our telly screens in April. However, now we’ve got an exact release date: April 13.
Quiz tells the extraordinary and sensational story of how Charles and Diana Ingram attempted an ‘audacious heist’ on the quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.
Major Ingram, his wife Diana and an accomplice, Tecwen Whittock – who was sitting in the audience – were accused of cheating their way to the million pound prize in 2001.
Just in case you’re not familiar with the story, we’re not going to go into too much more details – but based off the trailer, it looks like Quiz will definitely be worth watching.

The three-part drama is directed by globally renowned director, Stephen Frears and written by playwright, James Graham.
Matthew Macfadyen stars as Major Charles Ingram; Michael Sheen stars as TV presenter, Chris Tarrant; Sian Clifford stars as as Diana Ingram.
Quiz also stars Mark Bonnar as Celador Television Chairman; Paul Smith, Helen McCrory as Sonia Woodley QC; Michael Jibson as Tecwen Whittock and Aisling Bea as ITV Entertainment Commissioner, Claudia Rosencrantz.
Quiz is a Left Bank Pictures co-production for ITV and AMC and is distributed by Sony Pictures Television.
