Do you have dreams of becoming a famous baker?
Well, it may finally be time for you to pursue that goal, as applications for Great British Bake Off 2019 have officially opened.
This year’s series of the competition will come to an end TONIGHT, and the plans for next year are already in motion.
“The Great British Bake Off kneads you. We’re looking for a gourmet selection of amateur bakers to enter the tent for the tenth series of The Great British Bake Off,” reads the entry website.
“If you or someone you know can prove to perfection and rise to the occasion, then why not apply now. GOOD LUCK!”
Applications close on 6th January 2019, so you’ve loads of time to decide if you wish to apply.
In the application, aspiring bakers are asked a series of questions.
For example:
- How long have you been baking for?
- Who taught you to bake?
- How/why did you first start baking?
- How does baking make you feel?
- Where do you get your inspiration from?
Applicants are also asked how they’d describe their own style of baking and what their signature bake is.
