Bake Off is back this month.
The Great British Bake Off is set to return to TV screens next week with a brand new group of bakers.
The beloved baking show is returning just in time for cozy season with the first episode airing on Tuesday, September 26th.
Viewers are set to meet a brand new cast and even a new presenter this season with Alison Hammond taking over from comedian Matt Lucas.
The show hasn’t even started yet, but it has already made history because this year’s cast features the show’s first-ever deaf contestant.
27-year-old Tasha Stones is one of 12 bakers joining the show this year. The participation officer will be accompanied by a British Sign Language interpreter during her time on the show.
Tasha said being part of the show was the most incredible experience.
She also praised her interpreter for being so supportive throughout her Bake Off experience.

“I couldn’t have done it without him and without the dedication from the show ensuring I had the same access as the other bakers.”
“Seeing him up at the front and feeling fully part of the show was a really special moment,” she shared.
Tasha was nervous about signing up for the show, but she cried with joy when she was chosen.
She added, “It’s great to see the Great British Bake Off include a deaf contestant for the first time. We’re confident that they’ll rise to the challenge.”
We cannot wait to see Tasha and the rest of this year’s bakers take part in the upcoming series.
The Great British Bake Off returns to Channel 4 at 8 pm on September 26th.
