Pink has just been confirmed to perform at the Super Bowl this year

Exciting news!

The iconic Pink will be performing at this year's Super Bowl taking place on Sunday, February 4 2018. Announcing the news on Twitter, the star wrote: "See you at the Super Bowl".

This will be Pink's first time ever performing at the event - as she will open the night with the national anthem. Justin Timberlake was announced in October as the halftime act performing in the legendary slot that Lady Gaga took last year and many greats before her including Coldplay and Beyoncé.

The Super Bowl will be taking place in Minneapolis this year and live coverage will be shown on Sky Sports 1 HD and the BBC1- many bars throughout Ireland also host Super Bowl nights showing the entire game alongside special food and drink deals.
