Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Paul Mescal doing a runner!

Paul is known for enjoying a brisk sprint in the mornings, sporting his iconic O'Neills GAA shorts and a pair of earphones but this is just a bit different.

TikTok users have alleged that the actor picks up women in bars at night and runs away from them while on walks the next morning.

One person even claimed that Paul told a woman he was walking with to look at something on the ground before taking off in the opposite direction.

Though we don't know for sure if this is true, representatives of the Aftersun star have not denied the rumours and are allegedly deciding not to comment.

In one video, TikToker @hannahzookpop said: "Paul Mescal and this is from lots of sources, goes around North London begging women for threesomes.

"And when he does get with a girl, he says, 'Hey, do you want to go for a walk?' And then in the middle of the chat, he will just leg it and leave her in the middle of the park."

People just couldn't get enough of the rumour with one person commenting: "Redefining the Irish goodbye," while another added, "I'm actually crying."

Other folks wanted to try their chances with the Maynooth man as someone penned, "So which bar?...."

Since going viral, people have posted videos of themselves training to chase the actor in what has been dubbed, 'The Paul Mescal Marathon.'

Most people say they'll join a gym as their New Year's resolution but this is a good enough replacement for that, it might serve as extra motivation.
