Maura Higgins speaks out about reuniting with ex-boyfriend Curtis Pritchard

Maura Higgins met the dancer during her time on Love Island

Maura admitted it was weird being part of the presenting side of the show, but loved the experience.

She told Capital FM: "Love Island Games is very different to your average Love Island.

"People really wanted to win they were taking this very seriously like, you know very strategic."

The model's ex-partner was a contestant on the show, forcing them to reunite after their 2020 split.

Maura explained that she wasn't overly nice to Curtis but she was "polite enough" to him.

She said she had to interview Curtis as part of the show but got on with it because it was part of her job.

"Everyone's very excited about this because obviously, they know that I would have had to interview him like, if he gets dumped from the show or if he makes the final.

"We could have a run in there. So yeah, I mean, I don't know how much I can say but ....it was interesting."

She hinted: "There might have been moments where I wasn't too... polite, but I think I made it more of a joke."

Maura and Curtis met during the 2019 series of 'Love Island' but went their separate ways in March 2020.

Speaking about their split, Maura explained that she didn't see a future with Curtis.

She felt it was wrong to continue a relationship with him.

She said: "Curtis and I barely saw each other. It was very, very hard because I was so besotted with him, and we never got to see each other.

"I just felt like I'm 29 and I want somebody that I can see a future with. I'm not getting any younger," Maura added.

The reality star is currently dating Bobby Holland Hanton.
