We all remember that Titanic moment when Jack (Leonardo diCaprio) drew Rose (Kate Winslet) as she posed naked for him, lying seductively across a chaise longue.
Their romantic moment is one of the most talked about scenes in the film but it seems that Kate Winslet isn’t all that happy discussing it.
The 38-year-old was attending the UK premiere of Divergent when she was asked to sign a sketch that mimicked the one Jack drew, but she refused.
Explaining the reason behind her decision to Yahoo Movies, the actress said: “I don’t sign that one. It feels very uncomfortable.”
THAT famous nude scene from Titanic
Winslet continued: “Why would you do that? … They were asking me to sign it. People ask me to sign that one a lot, and actually there’s a photo of it as well that someone’s lifted from a still of the film.”
“That photo gets passed around. It’s like, ‘No, I didn’t mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing 16, 17 years later. It’s still haunting me. It’s quite funny really’,” she added.
To be fair, we can see why it might make her a little uncomfortable but it’s still a scene that will be talked about for the foreseeable future.
