David Walliams was rejected by all of the members of Girls Aloud after trying to ask them out on a date.
The comedian, who announced his separation from wife Lara Stone earlier this week, appeared on a Comic Relief version of The Graham Norton Show with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and opened up about using Louis Walsh as a wingman to get a date with her.
“When Girls Aloud came along, I met Louis Walsh and asked him if any of the girls were single and he said he would ask,” he said.
“I thought he would do that discreetly, but he called a meeting of all of them and asked, ‘Do any of you want to go out with David Walliams?’ It was a no. And that was the end of that.”
The comedian was targeted by wannabe model Josie Cunningham earlier this week, when she sent him a string of X-rated messages after hearing of his marital issues.
