Avril Lavigne has accused Mark Zuckerberg of bullying Nickelback

She called the Facebook founder out

The Complicated singer took to Twitter to vent her feelings about Mark’s comments.

Following an advert for Jarvis, a new voice control system to be used with Facebook, one of Mark Zuckerberg’s jokes in the commercial seemed to have missed the mark.

In the advert, Mark is seen asking Jarvis to ‘play some good Nickelback songs’ where the voice of Morgan Freeman replies there are “no good Nickelback songs” to play.

Avril Lavigne, who was previously married to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, took issue with the diss, taking to Twitter to call Mark out on his ill-fated joke.

She posted a screenshot of a note to her Twitter account, which reads:

“Dear Mark, many people use your products – some people love them and some people don’t.

“Either way, you’re allowed your musical opinion however, your jab at Nickelback is in poor taste.

“When you have a voice like yours, you may want to consider being more responsible with promoting bullying, especially given what’s going on in the world today.

“SayNoToBullying #TheJokeIsOld #NickelbackHasSoldOver50MillionAlbums.”

People on Twitter couldn’t help but giggle at the thought of anyone taking a stance in support of Nickelback.
