Manly love is officially taking the celebrity world by storm and at Her.ie we couldn’t be happier about it.
To celebrate our favourite male stars and their friendships, here is a list of the bromances we just can’t get enough of:
1. Brad Pitt and George Clooney
Arguably the original bromance, these two Hollywood superstars have been friends for over a decade having bonded on the set of Ocean’s Eleven. With so much in common, including their dashing good looks, it’s no wonder their friendship has lasted the distance.
2. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes
These two are old friends stemming back to their time working on Schindler’s List and have been there for each other through the good and bad times. Known for holidaying together, we can’t help but smile at Ralph and Liam’s bromance.
3. Kanye West and Jay-Z
Kanye was one of the first to congratulate Jay-Z on the news that he was about to be a father and the two rappers have been working alongside each other for years. And Kanye there’s no need to worry, we’re pretty sure Jay-Z isn’t a goldigga.
4. Paul Rudd and Jason Segal
Firstly, we have to say that we would love to be in on this bromance made in heaven. Just imagine how much they would make you laugh! The I Love You, Man co-stars have certainly struck gold in both the film and friendship stakes.
5. Ant and Dec
You’ve got to love Ant and Dec. Mixing work and pleasure often doesn’t work for friends but they prove that their bromance is meant to be. We think they’re mint. That means good in Geordie by the way.
6. Dara O’Briain and Ed Byrne
These two hilarious Irish comedians may be closer than you might think. In fact each was the other’s best man. We’re guessing those speeches were like the best wedding speeches in the history of weddings! Oh, how we would have loved to be a fly on the wall.
7. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck
Rivalling fellow actors George and Brad, Matt and Ben have always been open about their friendship and are known for declaring their love for one another. They are so sweet together that it almost brings a tear to the eye.
8. Tom Felton and Rupert Grint
Despite playing enemies in the Harry Potter films, these two young stars seem to get on like a house on fire off-screen. Rupert famously wore an ‘I love Tom Felton’ t-shirt to a recent film premiere. Now if we could just get them into the office…Imperio! Nope, didn’t work.
9. Danny O’Donoghue and Mark Sheehan
The Script band mates have been through thick and thin together. Having both been in 90s band Mytown they are now members of one of the biggest Irish bands out there at the moment. You just couldn’t write this sort of stuff. Get it? : The Script.
10. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson
With what seems like hundreds of films under their belts, these two comic actors are used to sharing the spotlight. Separately they’re good but together they’re simply unbeatable. Before you ask boys, we’d love to marry you and meet your parents!
