Couple goals.
Well folks, that’s an official wrap on Love Island 2019 (yeah, we’re a bit devo).
However, our favourite couple won, so we have something to be happy about.
Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill were this year’s champions, winning the competition, and the £50,000 prize.
Made even more wonderful by the fact that Greg is, of course, Irish and proud.
During the final episode, Greg read a poem he had written for Amber, solidifying himself as the perfect man.
“I’m going to keep this short and sweet, just like when we first came to meet.””Up in the Hideaway sheltered from the trouble, we instantly connected and formed our own little bubble…” he wrote.
Amber, clearly blushing from the gorge words, replied: “It would be fair to say that I’ve had quite a journey in the villa this summer. There have been so many highs and then some lows, but then along came Greg.”
“Thank you for helping to build me back up. You’ve always been so sweet and lovely to me and you’ve managed to bring out my soft side.”
And it left us kind of curious, will they stay together after the villa?
Well, according to a recent interview with the MailOnline, that’s the plan for now anyway.
Amber and Greg have confirmed that they’re exclusively dating – and sure, we’re delighted.
When asked if they were exclusive, Greg replied: “I think we’re exclusive what do you think?”
Amber simply replied: “Yeah I think, yeah.”
Greg added:
“Yeah, definitely. We’re both quite loyal and we’re really into each other at the moment, even though it’s early stages, so definitely we’re only seeing each other.”
We’re bloody delighted to hear that!
