This Expert Tip Will Help When A Dreaded Spot Appears (Out Of Nowhere)

One of THOSE spots!

Spots have a habit of appearing when you really don’t want them to, the night before a first date or when you know you have to get your photo taken for something.

While attempting to hide an angry red pimple is far from fun, there are steps you can take for damage control.

Dior celebrity make-up artist Ricky Wilson recently spoke to Refinery 29 and said that when it comes to concealing blemishes, “stippling” is something you need to familiarise yourself with.

When it feels like EVERYONE is looking at the spot…

Sweeping product back and forth won’t cover anything so instead you need to make a “stamp” on the spot in question.

After putting concealer right on to the offending area, you can then blend out the edges of the product using either your fingers or a small concealer brush.

Ricky recommends stick concealer for covering spots but as they are “full-coverage”, a little product will go a long way.

Oh, and when choosing a shade of concealer, never go lighter as it will only serve to draw attention to the pimple and make it looks bigger (am, no thanks).

Spots can occur at any age and it’s no fun but at least there’s products, tips and tricks to help us mask problem pimples.
