Jazz Up Your Look with These Seven Heavenly Hair Accessories

Fancy doing something a little different with your hair? Then take a leaf out of the star style book and try one of these seven heavenly hair accessories.

Are you tired of having the same old hairstyle? Do you want to do something different without having to undergo a major hair transformation?

Well you can and better still it’s really simple and much cheaper than a trip to the hairdressers. All you have to do is invest in a few hair accessories. Trust us, it’ll be worth it.

1. Probably the most popular hair accessory is the traditional hairband which also includes softer bandos. The thing about this particular hair accessory is that it is very practical and fashionable. Not only does it keep your hair out of the way and in place no matter what the weather but it can be the item that adds a little something extra to your look.

2. If you feel like going for something a little more daring why not try a headband? They are perfect for themed outfits, including hippy and flapper looks, as well as casual ensembles. Our only tip would be to be careful with your makeup. Because the headband will add something extra and unusual, it might be worthwhile going for minimal makeup.

3. You’d be hard-pressed to find a red carpet that doesn’t have ornate hair clips, decorative hair pins or fancy slides on it. Whether you need to inject a down hairstyle with a touch of life or finish off an intricate up hairstyle, the clip is the way to go. And if you ask us, the glitzier it is the better!

4. So they might not be the first hair accessory you think of as being stylish or fashionable but if you look hard enough you will find hair bobbles for even the dressiest of occasions. Feathers, flowers and jewels are all popular themes in the world of hair accessories.

5. For more formal occasions you can opt for fascinators or corsages for your hair. Depending on your outfit and the tone of the occasion you can get fascinators of all shapes and sizes. For inspiration why not check out our style crush Kate Middleton? Corsages also work well as a hair accessory if you don’t fancy the fascinator.

6. Bows are a great way to jazz up a casual hairstyle. They are cute and flirty at the same time which means they are great for family affairs or a first date. To make sure your hair stays in place, use a bobble underneath the bow. After all you don’t want your do falling apart. Awk aren’t you just bow-tiful?

7. Last but not least you could put actual flowers in your hair. And no they’re not just for heading to San Francisco! Flowers are perfect for heading to the shops on a summer’s day or going to dinner in a maxi dress with your friends. If you are out and about on a warm or sunny day make sure to keep an eye out for any bees just in case.

Like your fabulous figure, your marvellous mane needs dressing up from time to time. Now that you know what’s out there, you’ve no excuse. Hope you have a happy hair-day!
