The trailer for Netflix’s Snowpiercer is here and we’ve got chills.
The series, which is based on the graphic novel series and film from Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho, starts on Netflix in Ireland on May 25.
After that, new episodes will be available weekly from June 1.
Seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, all remaining life lives aboard the massive Snowpiercer.
1001 cars long, the Snowpiercer circles the globe endlessly, divided into classes, with the rich elites up front and impoverished “tailies” in the back.
Snowpiercer tells the story of what happens when those who have been oppressed their whole lives decide to resist, rise up, and revolt.
Oscar® winner Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind) and Grammy® and Tony Award® winner Daveed Diggs (Hamilton, Black-ish) star in the series.
The 10-episode series also stars Alison Wright ( The Americans) , Mickey Sumner (Frances Ha, Battle of the Sexes ), Susan Park (Ghostbusters), Iddo Goldberg (Peaky Blinders, The Zookeeper’s Wife), Katie McGuinness (Dirty Filthy Love ), Tony Award® winner and Grammy® nominee Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch ), AnnaliseBasso(B edtime Stories) , Sam Otto (J ellyfish ), Roberto Urbina (Narcos), Sheila Vand (Argo) and Jaylin Fletcher (Saturday Church).
