Poor Audrey.
Coronation Street fans reckon they have figured out who stole Audrey Roberts’ inheritance money – and its not Nigel Havers.
The salon owner has had a particularly tough week, after the New Year’s Day episode saw her discover her boyfriend’s lifeless body on the floor of her bedroom.
He was holding an engagement ring at the time, which led many fans – and Audrey – to believe he was planning on popping the question before his passing.
Then, on Wednesday, a heartbroken Audrey was dealt another blow when she found out that the inheritance money Archie Shuttleworth had left her was stolen from her bank account.
And while plenty of people on the cobbles thought it was Nigel who stole the money (after all, he did know the log-in information), some eagle-eyed fans reckon it was another Weatherfield resident who swiped the £80,000: her grandson, Nick Tilsley.
Many remarked on Twitter that Nick had been acting “shifty”, while others theorised that he had killed Lewis so that he could frame him for stealing Audrey’s money (which sounds a bit farfetched to us, if we’re being honest).
Some people even said they thought he could be the new “super villain” set to terrorise the Weatherfield residents this year.

So I’m betting the ‘new’ villain they are promising on #corrie will be Nick Tilsley. After his Gran’s money did he kill Lewis? Then it’ll snowball… Wonder what odds I’d get calling it this early?

So, Nick's nicked his gran's money and he's the one that's going to burn down the factory and becomes the new #Corrie supervillan. Am I right?
