If you fancy living the high life, hanging out on a beach all day and getting paid for it, then look no further.
A resort in the Bahamas want you to do just that… well, that and look after their flock of flamingos.
Baha Mar, which is a €3 billion luxury resort on the island, is looking for a CFO – a Certified Flamingo Officer.
But if you think just chilling by a pool with the birds all day is easy, you actually need a lot of experience for the job.
It’s looking for someone who has a degree in zoology, and you also have to have at least five years experience caring for exotic birds.
“[You] will be responsible for the care, propagation and training of the flamingo collections at Baha Mar and related facilities to create a Beach Sanctuary experience that will leave a lasting impression on guests,” reads the job description.
The birds will live in ‘Flamingo Mansion’, which has both indoor and outdoor facilities, as well as aquatic and dry areas that they will call home for the entire summer.
