YOU HAD ONE JOB.
So, Enda Kenny decided to ignore every Irish person’s plea for him not go to see President Trump for the inaugural St Patrick’s Day visit and is there as we speak.
While addressing a packed room of journalists, including TodayFM’s Gavin Reilly, he made one of the biggest errors one could possibly make. He got the President’s name wrong.
Not only that, he mistook him for the person who was President eight years ago, Mr Bush.
Gavin shared the moment on social media explaining that Kenny opened his speech by saying that he received the invitation to visit after the election of “President Bush”.

Oh, Enda.
It’s not the first time he’s made a balls of a situation, when he tried and failed to do a handshake with President Obama on the same visit in 2015.
