Cringe.
An Irishman who lives in London has been heavily criticised for his comments about immigrants and the upcoming decision for Britain to leave the EU.
When asked about the referendum, the Irishman told RTE’s Six One News:
“The vote will be to get out as quick as possible, and there’s a simple reason for that,”
“I left Ireland when I was 15 years of age, I had no other choice.
“Our work has been taken up by thousands and thousands of people crossing over into Britain and that’s the reason I’ll definitely be voting to leave.”
The man admitted he emigrated from Ireland at the age of 15 to work in the UK, which makes his statements slightly hypocritical.

Twitter users were not impressed with the controversial comments the Mayo man made:
This #BREXIT Racist makes me ashamed to hear him. He seems to have no notion that he himself was an Irish immigrant https://t.co/xFziICJez3
