The sole survivor of 30 people hiding in Pulse bathroom reveals what happened

The sole survivor of the 30 people hiding in the bathroom in Pulse nightclub has revealed the horror that took place in the small cubicles.  When Omar Mateen opened fire in the Orlando nightclub, 30 people ran to the bathrooms for safety but only one person survived, Norman Casiano. He has revealed that the gunman laughed as he shot his way through the cubicles, killing 29 people. According to The Daily Mail, Norman described what happened while they were hiding in the bathroom"

"I started crying and at that point a gentleman stumbles into the bathroom, collapses in front of the stall door and he's bleeding everywhere and he's begging to come inside the stall."

The man was unable to get into the stall because it was full and when Mateen entered the bathroom he shot the man one last time.

"The scary part was that he didn't say anything, and what's scarier than that when he shot the boy that was already shot, he laughed. And as he's laughing as he fires through the whole front of the stall. That's when I got my first wound." "He was laughing fanatically as he sprayed people with the gun. He was going "ha, ha, ha" as he shot them."

Then once Omar had left the bathroom Norman was able to crawl over his friend's bodies to safety. Norman chatted with CNN about the attacks: Image and video via YouTube/CNN
