A man has been found guilty of murdering pregnant Hollyoaks actress Frankie Jules-Hough.

22-year-old Adil Iqbal pleaded guilty to killing the mother after he crashed into her car on the M66. The mum had stopped on the hard shoulder of the motorway when Mr. Iqbal collided with her car.

He was filming himself at the time of the accident. The court was told he was travelling at 123 mph at the time of the collision.

He has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, according to The Mirror.

He has also been banned from driving for 14 years.

According to reports, he was speeding and was also using his phone at the time of the accident.

The Hollyoaks star was fatally injured in the May 13th accident. Her nine-year-old son was also seriously injured.

Her nephew was also badly hurt, according to BBC News. It is understood that both boys suffered brain injuries and were admitted to ICU.

Frankie’s 2-year-old son was also in the car at the time of the accident.

The actress was 17 weeks pregnant, with her first daughter, at the time of the accident. She tragically suffered an unsurvivable brain injury in the collision.

She was rushed to hospital, but she never regained consciousness. Both Frankie and her daughter died two days after the accident.

Mr. Iqbal reportedly undertook a motorbike before crashing into Frankie’s car at 92mph. The mum had pulled over after getting a puncture and was on the phone moments before the harrowing accident occurred.
