A man in Louisiana was arrested by police after shooting his son in a row over orange juice.
The incident took place last weekend when Eldridge Dukes got into a heated argument with his 18-year-old son at their home in Baton Rouge over an empty orange juice carton.
According to The New Orleans Advocate, the victim broke a porcelain vase before Dukes grabbed his handgun, chased the victim out of the house and fired at him three times.
Dukes’ son was hit in the rear end and taken to Baton Rouge General Mid-City Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
It’s believed that his mother called the police and Dukes has been booked for attempted manslaughter and illegal use of a dangerous weapon after confessing to the shooting.
