Celebrity news network TMZ has reported that Carrie Fisher’s mother Debbie Reynolds has been rushed to hospital this afternoon.

Reynolds is said to have been mourning her daughter, who passed away yesterday after a heart attack, at the home of her son Todd Fisher in Beverly Hills.

The report suggests that an EMT (emergency medical technician) team was called to the home at around 1pm Pacific time whereafter Reynolds was brought to hospital.

TMZ has also provided an alleged photograph of what appears to be an ambulance leaving Ms. Reynolds home.

Reynolds is 84, and had been tweeting updates on Carrie Fisher’s health in the past few days after her daughter suffered cardiac arrest on December 23.
