WATCH: Four Irish lads perform a gorgeous medley to celebrate the sunshine

So damn good...

Rebecca Keane

What a talented group of lads.

The weather the last week has been absolutely glorious. The sun is shining, your Mammy gets loads of drying done, everyone’s in a good mood – every day we have with the sun is guaranteed to be a good one.

There’s nothing better when it’s sunny out to go for a scenic drive to the beach or the park. What better way to pass the time in the car then start a little sing-song?

Four Irish lads brightened our day, even more when they recorded a seamless medley of Noah and the Whale’s Five Years Time and classic Katrina and The Wave’s Walking On Sunshine.

Declan Quirke, Alan Hosey, Cathal O’Rourke and Eoin Quirke are secondary school students aged between 16-19 from Carlow.

The Borris quartet also makes up trad/pop band The Blue Masseys and aided just by a guitar and a ukulele, the four lads give a deadly rendition as they’re breezing along in the car.

Now where’s my ukulele…
