While Dolly Parton was rocking Glastonbury over the weekend Sophie Ellis-Bexter was covering the country music queen’s massive hit for the lovely folk of Westport Festival.
Sophie took to the Radio1 tent before her main stage set to treat a few fans to a rendition of ‘Jolene’.
The songstress addressed the crowd and asked them to select a song for her to sing. The audience was given a choice between Sophie’s most well known hit, ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ or Dolly’s ‘Jolene’.
‘Jolene’ won after getting the loudest cheer from the crowd but the folk down the back were brave enough to ask for both.
