LISTEN: Freddie Mercury & Michael Jackson Duet Released After 33 Years

You might get a little choked up listening to this one...

They just don’t make them like they used to…

Two of the most influential voices of all time on one touching record – years after both artists involved passed away far too soon.

In 1981, Freddie Mercury recorded There Must Be More to Life Than This with additional vocals from Michael Jackson. When the song was eventually released, it was without Jackson’s voice, so the world never heard the pair’s collaboration. Now, 33 years later, new compilation Queen Forever is bringing the music to the masses.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, producer William Orbit said: “Hearing Michael Jackson’s vocals was stirring. So vivid, so cool, and poignant, it was like he was in the studio singing live.”

“With Freddie’s vocal solo on the mixing desk, my appreciation for his gift was taken to an even higher level.”
