Yesterday, Irish music sensations Kodaline announced that will play an exclusive and intimate concert in Whelans, Wexford Street, Wednesday July 2nd in aid of Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association.

Tickets went on sale this morning and unsurprisingly sold out within minutes.

Great news for Kodaline fans, the lads have announced a second date Thursday July 3rd and will go on sale today at 4pm.

Tickets are priced €40.00 and can be purchase from www.ticketmaster.ie and all proceeds from this special event will go to helping people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Concertgoers will be treated to an exclusive preview of brand new music from their yet to be titled new album, which is slated for a release in 2015.

The band has decided to perform these exclusive tracks in this setting as a once off performance for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, through their close relationship with MND sufferer Jan Battles.

Speaking of the concert Jan said: “From the moment I heard Kodaline’s first song, All I Want, I was hooked on their music. They’re amazing live and I was so honoured when I asked them if they would consider doing a charity gig in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and they agreed without hesitation. They’re generous as well as hugely talented lads. I’m so excited we’ll be getting to hear exclusive new material from their much anticipated new album. It’s going to be a great gig”.

Ticket sales will be limited to two per person.
