The Wait Is Over: Incredible Rock Sensation Royal Blood Release Self-Titled Album This Friday

The wait is finally over...

Good news for Royal Blood fans, the duo will release their eagerly anticipated self-titled debut album this Friday.

The band’s unmistakable ferocity is the result of just two men from Brighton, lead vocalist and bassist Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher.

Royal Blood enjoyed a sell-out show in Dublin’s The Workman’s Club back in March with support from one of our favourite Irish bands, Leaders of Men.

They made their return to Irish shores as special guests for Arctic Monkeys at Marlay Park and if we’re honest, stole the show after blowing the metaphorical roof off as the opening act.

The duo’s remarkable breakthrough has found them securing slots on music shows such as, Later With Jools Holland and The Jimmy Kimmel Show.

Royal Blood uploaded the video for their third single ‘Figure It Out’ last month and it is absolutely *insert expletives here* brilliant.

The lads also smashed their set at Glastonbury at the beginning of the summer, watch their live performance of ‘Out Of The Black’ below.

For more information you can check out or follow all band updates on Twitter and Facebook.

Royal Blood will hit shelves Friday August 22nd. Pre-orders are now open at iTunes and with ‘Out of the Black’ provided as an instant grat.

A teaser trailer for group’s album was released at the end of June, watch it in full below.
