It looks like Take Me To Church is taking one Irish musician straight to the top.
Fresh from his appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, Wicklow-born singer Hozier has announced that he will be joining Ellen Degeneres on her famous set next week.
A clearly elated Hozier, real name Andrew Hozier-Byrne, took to Twitter late last night to share the exciting news.
Ellen’s hugely popular show attracts around 3 million viewers daily in the US, and millions more across the globe through syndication deals.
Hozier made headlines last year when the video for his powerful track Take Me To Church went viral on YouTube. To date, it has been viewed more than 3 million times.
