As part of New Years Festival Dublin (NYF Dublin), MCD has today announced an outdoor countdown concert featuring Kodaline, James Vincent McMorrow, Dublin Legends, Walking on Cars and The Whereabouts on College Green this New Years Eve, December 31st.
The high-profile gig is another coup for Kodaline, who are currently sitting at triple-platinum Irish sales and counting. The event comes after a stellar year for the band in which managed to sell out The former O2 Arena (now 3Arena) and play to appreciative crowds at Irish festivals Electric Picnic and Longitude at Marlay Park.
James Vincent McMorrow will be one or NYF Dublin’s big attractions
Kodaline are joined on the bill by James Vincent McMorrow, whose acclaimed debut album ‘Early in the Morning’, reached number one and went platinum, as well as picking up a Choice Music Prize nomination. McMorrow released his acclaimed second album ‘Post Tropical’ in Ireland on in January 2014.
Tickets for the event are €24.50 and go on sale from this Friday, November 7th.
