CONFIRMED! The Script and Pharrell For Croke Park Next Summer

Irish pop-rock band The Script will headline a gig alongside Pharrell Williams at Croke Park next summer, it has been confirmed.

Following days of speculation, the band announced at a special press conference this morning that they will play Croke Park in 2015 with special guest Pharrell.

The gig will take place on June 20th, 2015. Tickets, priced at €45, will go on sale this Thursday, November 6th at 9am.

Frontman Danny O’Donoghue, guitarist Mark Sheehan and drummer Glen Power were in attendance at the event in Croke Park this morning and spoke of their excitement at playing the venue, having previously supported U2 there in 2009.

Bookmaker Paddy Power had yesterday been forced to suspend betting on the announcement, after slashing the Dublin band’s odds from 10/1 to 1/5 following a slew of bets.

The Script released their latest album, No Sound Without Silence, in September.
