Luas users were forced get out and walk this morning after a power cut reportedly affected the Luas green line.
Passengers took to walking on the tracks after the Luas website announced that services on the green line were running only from Carrickmines and Beechwood before being suspended altogether.
#Luas Green Line services have been suspended until further notice, please see http://t.co/FiPHSSPLZt for information

“[It is] Due to a power failure in the city centre which has affected the power at St. Stephens Green and other sections of the line,” a statement read.
“We together with external contractors are doing our utmost to restore a full line as soon as possible.”
