Attention Irish bridesmaids: the bar has just been raised.
Whereas the old wedding traditions only see the men having their say (father of the bride, father of the groom, best man and the groom himself), in recent years we’ve seen a welcome change with the ladies of the day having their say too.
Step forward Colleen Laverty, who took on every epic best man speech ever made and showed the lads how it’s done with “Dear Seana’s husband”, a song written by bridesmaid Colleen for her best friend and cousin on her big day.
