This is the Christmas gift that just keeps giving…
The genius people behind Toronto’s Yorkdale Mall have brought us #YorkdaleFashionSanta. Played by model Paul Mason, the sexy Santa models clothes from some of the most exclusive retailers in the centre.
In an interview with Pop And Press in August, Mason says he started in the fashion industry when fashion students asked him to walk in a college show. An audience member spotted him and within three months he was walking in Tokyo fashion shows.
He cited Daniel Craig as one of his fashion influences and explained how he worked to develop the ‘Fashion Santa’ image with Yorkdale Mall. While he enjoys portraying the image, the most important element for him is the “selfies for sick kids.”
Naturally he attracts the attention of shoppers, so for every selfie posted with the silver fox, Yorkdale will donate $1 to charity.
Let’s just say, we wouldn’t mind him sliding down our chimney!
