It seems that new bars are opening every other week but this UK one is definitely a bit different.
While we may look forward to knocking back a few glasses of wine after a long day, a new pop-up bar will give you the option of consuming alcohol without actually having a drink at all.
The initiative by experimental artists Bompas and Parr will see alcohol pumped through the air in powerful humidifiers.
Revellers, who will stay in the bar for 50 minutes, will absorb it into their bloodstream through mucus membranes such as their eyeballs and lungs.
By bypassing the liver, people will get the same effect by consuming 40 per cent less alcohol but it’s not the most social experience as the thick fog will mean that they can only see a metre ahead.
The pop up opens in Borough Market and will be around until early 2016.
