The ‘Ball-Pit Bar’ For Adults Has Arrived And It Looks Like Serious Craic

As a Galway native, Peter Pan adventure centre was my favourite place growing up.

A close second to the Coca-Cola slide was the ball pit which provided endless hours of fun.

Now Ryan Lum, founder of Forward Motion San Francisco, has introduced the first adult ball-pit bar i.e an area that serves as a ball pit AND a bar.

Speaking to Mashable about the idea, he said: “It took a little over a year to actually make it happen as the biggest obstacle was trying to raise enough money to purchase 40,000 ball-pit balls.

“After several failed crowdfunding attempts, I decided to just start selling tickets to [the] event that didn’t even exist. It took a long time trying to raise the money but it was all worth it in the end”.

The first event took place in San Francisco but Ryan hopes he can bring it to other cities soon – COME TO DUBLIN.
