Farewell Harlem Shake, goodbye Gangnam Style… this is the next big dance craze.
Comic book and movie fans will undoubtedly have flocked to see Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy already, and of course fallen in love with Groot.
During one of the film’s most popular scenes, the ridiculously cute Baby Groot dances to the Jackson 5’s epic tune I Want You Back, and a trend was born.

Already, Marvel have confirmed that they will release dancing Baby Groot toys, but now it seems Groot’s influence is set to spread.
GOTG’s Michael Rooker recreated the dance while standing in a rubbish bin behind Dave Bautista at the Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con.
Now, “grooting” is trending on social media, and Marvel are officially encouraging users to get grooving, Groot style. In the latest episode of Marvel’s The Watcher Show, host Lorraine Cink got in on the action too.
