In a serious blast from the past, shopkeeper Eamon MacCaughey has us reeling in the years after sharing a photo of a Cadbury’s Touchdown chocolate bar.
Eamon is currently refitting his Co. Monaghan shop, Matthews of Clones and during the renovations, he found the bar, which used to cost 10p.
He decided to post it on Facebook, describing it as a “little gem” but he wasn’t bargaining for the huge reaction it received.
Speaking to The Mirror, Eamon said: “It’s basically a blast from the past. It’s bringing memories back for people. Everyone’s talking about it.
“It has brought footfall into the shop and everyone is asking about it. It has just been an amazing reaction”.
