What a legend.
One absolute gentleman of a bus driver has become an internet sensation this week for what he got up on a bus journey on Wednesday evening.
Passenger Ruairí Connolly certainly had an eventful (and pretty amazing) trip to Derry, as it turned out that the bus driver had forgotten to do the Lotto.
Presumably worried that he wouldn’t get his numbers done before the big draw, he hopped off the bus at a shop to do so… and then proceeded to make up for the delay to his passengers in absolutely incredible fashion.
What a man.
Ruairí and his fellow female passenger got chatting over the brilliant experience, and according to the Derry Journal when they got to Derry, the driver joked that his actions may have sparked the beginning of a beautiful romance.
Hmm… Watch this space.
What a story that’d be for the grandkids though eh?
